FlipTime is a simple desk clock & calendar which is designed to look like flight information boards at airports. It uses actual sound sampled from actual clocks so as to realize the flip-flap feelings.

The design is very good. But if you please add the option to switch off the sound and select the beginning day of the week (here in Germany it is Monday), this would be perfect.
I like this thing very very much. I only wish you could hide the calendar in the portarait view and just look at the spiffy clock. Another great option would be to kill the click, click sound of passing seconds - other than that this one is well worth the $1 that it costs.
Would be perfect if you could turn of the click sound. I would have it on my desk all the time.
Love the 24 hr clock and color options. The new 2.0 has the option to turn off clicking which comes handy
Almost didnt get it because of last review, but works great on 4S so far. I got this app because the app display shows both the time and date and is nicely designed.
Some bad moments
I like it ish. It looks great but some improvements to consider would include an indicator on the main screen that the alarm is set and for what time it will go off next, better colours, ability to point the app to your own time server and finally to have alarm still sound even though phone is set to vibrate like native alarm app does.
crashes constantly on paid version, because last update over a year ago, and apple has 3 new versions and their own update since then! Save your money & get a coffee and muffin at McDonalds- youll be more fullfilled.
Why now there is an annoying ringtone before the iPod alarm? This is really bad!!!
The visual aspect is aesthetically pleasing yes but without an alarm or an option to turn off the sound the app makes when the time changes makes this app useless. Please update!
Does not properly lock the screen (on) when plugged into a power source. What is the point of a clock that you can not get to stay on. I dont have this problem with my other clock apps.
Nice clock and calendar but lacks alarm and ability to turn off Apples sleep mode. Current bare bones version should be free until meaningful functionality is added that justified the cost. There are several free clock apps that do way more and while its only $0.99, Im disappointed I got this app.
